October 08, 2008

Hamilton, NJ – October 8, 2008 – Voxware, Inc. (NASDAQ: VOXW), a leading supplier of software for voice-driven warehousing operations, today announced that it is awarding four customers with the Voxware Velocity Achievement Award at its Annual User Conference from October 8-10, 2008 in Orlando. The awards are being given to customers that have exemplified significant benefits using Voxware’s voice solution in four categories: Productivity, Accuracy, Innovation and Operational Excellence.

Each winner had to demonstrate they have surpassed goals with voice, maintained established productivity and accuracy levels, continued to increase goals and have implemented steps to track and measure performance. The winning companies will receive a crystal award and a donation to the charity of their choice in the name of the organization. The winners in each category are:

Productivity Award – U.S. Food Service: For increasing productivity rates to the point where more associates are getting recognized for performing at high levels.

Accuracy Award – Elsevier, Inc.: For dramatically reducing the amount of picking errors, improving efficiencies throughout the warehouse and increasing accuracy rates by 4.5 percent.

Innovation Award – Mohawk Industries: For using voice outside of just traditional voice picking and combining different technologies to streamline their processes.

Operational Excellence Award – Performance Food Group: For improving the overall operational performance of their warehouses, from increased productivity and accuracy rates to better customer satisfaction.

“Voxware is setting the standard for open, standards-based voice solutions that improve operational efficiency and positively impact bottom-lines,” said Scott Yetter, CEO, Voxware. “We are thrilled our customers are realizing such great results throughout their organizations because of our voice solutions. This year’s attendance is our best yet and is a reflection of our record breaking year of profitability. These awards prove that voice is a viable solution for the modern warehouse and it will continue to gain momentum and optimize additional warehouse processes moving forward.”
