June 13, 2007
Highly Configurable Software and Express Start-up Features Enable Smooth and Rapid Deployment within Four Weeks.
LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ – June 13, 2007 – Voxware, Inc. (Nasdaq: VOXW), a leading supplier of software for open, standards-based voice-driven warehousing operations, announced today that The Eastern Bag & Paper Group has deployed Voxware’s software and reached pre-deployment standards within 4-weeks. Voxware’s software will enable Eastern Bag workers to minimize errors and increase productivity. Eastern Bag has deployed Voxware’s software at its Connecticut facility on LXE HX1 wireless mobile computers.
Pat Haray, Warehouse Manager at Eastern Bag & Paper Group, noted, “Voxware delivered a quick solution, and this was the smoothest software implementation in the 20+ years I’ve been with the company. We were up and running at 100% of standard within four weeks, and started to see a reduction in our errors.”
Jack Jurkowski, Eastern Bag’s Chief Information Officer, added, “Voxware delivered a solution that has increased our order picking accuracy and reduced the time required for each warehouse worker to pick their orders. An added bonus is that Voxware’s multiple language capability allows the worker to perform all aspects of their job using the language with which they are most comfortable. From the IT perspective, Voxware interfaced easily with our enterprise IBM I-series based application, requiring a minimum of implementation time.”
Voxware President Scott J. Yetter said, “Eastern Bag has benefited greatly by getting paper orders out of the hands of its workers and directing them instead via voice instructions. We are especially pleased that Eastern Bag recognized the value of our unique open, standards-based software, which delivers a highly flexible and configurable solution and a technology platform that will easily adapt to their business process changes as they evolve.”
