Voice Technology Attains Third Designation on Select Motorola Products
Hamilton, NJ – June 26, 2008 – Voxware, Inc. (NASDAQ: VOXW), a leading supplier of software for voice-driven warehousing operations, today announced that its voice technology software, VoiceLogistics®, has successfully achieved SymbolPLUS validation on Motorola’s MC9090 mobile computer through completing Motorola’s Solutions Validation Program that includes joint testing at the Motorola Solution Center in Holtsville, New York. This designation assures customers of high quality and system interoperability between Motorola devices and Voxware’s voice technology software. This is the third SymbolPLUS validation designation Voxware has attained on a Motorola product.
“Voxware has years of experience and success in developing powerful voice solutions for the logistics industry and this designation validates that,” said Scott Yetter, CEO, Voxware. “We have had a successful partnership with Motorola and, together, have conducted rigorous tests and validation of our voice software. The result is that Voxware is setting the standard for the open, standards-based solutions, including service oriented architecture, Java, VoiceXML and web technologies required by today’s business enterprises.”
Voxware’s VoiceLogistics software includes the VoxBrowser™ and VoxManager™. VoxBrowser is a VoiceXML browser that integrates industry-leading speech recognition technology, Voxware’s Integrated Speech Engine (VISE®), which is designed for demanding, high-noise industrial environments. VoxManager is the accompanying server-side software that allows the user to administer and maintain worker devices.
Motorola’s Solution Validation Program enables partners like Voxware to test and validate their mobility solutions on Motorola product to ensure interoperability. In addition, it helps meet customer application-specific needs and reduces the risk level and deployment time for the customer. Voxware’s voice software has been tested and co-validated on select products including the MC9090 mobile computer, MC3090 mobile computer, and WT4090 wearable computer.
