How do you deploy a voice picking system and integrate it seamlessly with you Manhattan Associates WMS?  You can learn from the experience of Carter’s, the world’s number one children’s brand, who deployed a voice directed picking system using Voxware 3. 

In this video, Peter Kok, Director of Supply Chain Process Development at Carter’s, explains why voice picking software from Voxware was chosen for implementation at Carter’s.

The voice picking solution had to be integrated with Carter’s WMS, which is Manhattan Associates WMOS.  Peter Kok explains how the mapping tools in Voxware 3 were used along with Voxware’s WMS Adapter for Manhattan Associates to create a seamless integration between the voice picking software and the WMS.

The video has information about the speed in which Voxware was able to deliver a voice picking solution for the Carter’s warehouse.  Using the VoxStudio toolset, Voxware configured the voice directed picking system without having to program a customized point solution.  As a result, the voice picking application was delivered to Carters very quickly and can be easily modified as the warehousing operation at Carter’s evolves.

The video demonstrates why pick by voice applications make workers more productive and more accurate.  The Carter’s video case study was shot at Carter’s main warehouse outside of Atlanta, Georgia.  It shows the voice picking system in action, and contains interviews with managers.
