Voxware President and CEO, Keith Phillips Named to 2019 “Pros to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive

Leading B2B Publication Releases Annual List of the Supply Chain’s Top Professionals

Hamilton, NJ — February 22, 2019 — Voxware, a leading provider of cloud-based voice and analytic supply chain solutions, announced that President and CEO, Keith Phillips, has been named one of 2019’s “Pros to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive.

The Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives, and manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises, that are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies’ supply chains for the significant challenges of today’s business climate. This year’s list includes more than 200 individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia, who helped their supply chain clients, or the supply chain community at large prepare to meet these challenges—and more than 40 Practitioner Pros, who do the same within their own companies.

“Every year we receive more submissions from outstanding supply chain leaders. It’s evidence of the growth in the supply chain profession as well as the importance of the profession within companies. Supply & Demand Chain Executive congratulates the 2019 Supply & Demand Chain Executive Pros to Know recipients. Our Pros to Know listing showcases the leaders and innovators shaping the profession and making substantial impact on their companies,” says John Yuva, editor for Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “We commend this year’s recipients for their achievements in supply chain and for paving the way for the next generation of exceptional supply chain leaders. This year’s recipients embody the commitment to transformative supply chain tools and processes, earning these individuals a rightful place in this year’s Pros to Know listing.”

"I want to thank Supply & Demand Chain Executive for this honor and congratulate the other Pros to Know," said Phillips. "I've had the good fortune to work alongside an outstanding team who fuels Voxware’s mission and our commitment to innovation.  Thanks to their relentless work, Voxware has continuously evolved to meet the needs of our customers and those they serve.”

Under Phillip’s direction since 2011, Voxware has invested heavily in its technology to ensure that it’s providing the most innovative solutions to help its customers exceed and run the most efficient distribution operation possible.  The strategy has helped propel Voxware to six consecutive years of 30 percent or greater annual growth.

Voxware attributes the success from the previous year to three key factors: 1) Expansion of automated workflows across all functions in the warehouse; 2) Increased use of multimodal technology (combination of voice, scanning, augmented reality); and 3) Customers are progressively attracted to replacing outdated legacy systems in favor of Android technology for all the advantages it offers.

“Our success in 2018 is a result of us sticking with our strategy of continuously investing in our product, both from a functional and technological standpoint,” said Keith Phillips, President and CEO of Voxware.  “The advancements that we have developed are significantly impacting the bottom line for our customers by automating workflows throughout the distribution center and making distribution operations more efficient.”

Voxware continues to see strong growth from retail, food & beverage, hospitality and healthcare companies.  These organizations realize the critical nature of delivering the right product at the right time or risk losing a customer.  Ballester Hermanos, Cone Health, McLane Global, Metrix, Price Chopper and RBI Corporation all became valued Voxware customers in 2018.

Meanwhile Artex, EBP Supply, Haggar Clothing Co., Mas Bodega, Mohawk, Neiman Marcus, PFG (Performance Food Group), Smiffy’s, SpecSavers and West Marine upgraded to the latest Android version, added new workflows across their distribution centers or expanded the number of users and facilities.

“The ongoing labor shortage is expected to impact many of the industries we serve well into 2019.  It’s our belief we’re best positioned to help organizations overcome these challenges with our automation solutions,” said Phillips.  “At the end of the day, consumers have many options when it comes to choosing where to spend their money.  If they aren’t satisfied with the total experience, they will go someplace else.  We want to ensure our customers continue to meet and exceed expectations.”
