Voxware Named to Food Logistics FL100+

Food Logistics Recognizes Voxware on its annual list of leading software providers

Hamilton, NJ – December 28, 2015 – Voxware, the largest independent voice application company and leading provider of Cloud-based voice solutions, today announced that it has been named to Food Logistics’ FL100+, an annual list of the leading 100-plus software and technology providers to the food and beverage industry. The list, which will appear in the November/December issue of Food Logistics, honors software providers that help food and beverage companies drive operational efficiencies that improve food safety and traceability, reduce food waste, and extend shelf life.

“Developments in the software and technology sector are generating new opportunities for growers, food manufacturers, grocery retailers and the many logistics providers that support them,” notes Lara L. Sowinski, editor-in-chief at Food Logistics. “Moreover, cloud-based solutions and mobile connectivity are helping create tools that are more flexible, affordable and responsive, making software and technology even more valuable to those in the global food supply chain.”

Voxware’s Voice Management Suite (VMS) helps food logistics companies of all sizes improve operational efficiency and fulfillment accuracy. As a result of deploying Voxware’s (VMS) numerous companies have achieved remarkable results including the following:

  • Whole Foods was able to improve operational efficiency by 25%
  • Mt. Pleasant, frozen yogurt distributor, improved accuracy and reduced the need for redeliveries
  • The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma doubled its pick rate from 50 cases per hour to over 100 cases per hour
  • The Community Food Bank of New Jersey reduced the length of time required to complete picking shifts by 30%
  • Performance Food Group increased picking accuracy to 99.96%
  • US Foods uses Voxware VMS to increase both efficiency and safety

Voxware’s food and beverage customers also include six food banks that collectively provide 2.5 million Americans with nearly a quarter billion pounds of food every year. To further assist food banks in their tireless endeavors, Voxware announced the formation of a new Food Bank Community Partnership in October. Through this partnership, Voxware will donate a set dollar amount for every pick food banks make using the VMS product.

“We serve many companies in the food and beverage industry and are honored to be included on the FL100+,” said Keith Phillips, President and CEO, Voxware. “The faster that companies can move food and beverage merchandise through the supply chain, the lower the risk for spoilage and late deliveries. Our voice automation technology helps companies move food more efficiently and accurately in the warehouse, which helps them deliver a superior experience to end customers.”

By replacing paper checklists with hands free headsets, Voxware’s VMS helps companies across industries run a more accurate and efficient supply chain. Voxware was the first to offer voice automation technology via the Cloud, making it possible for companies of all sizes to take advantages of the benefits of SaaS delivery.
